Spotlight on Hoole Club serves up fun for
FOUNDED in 1896, Hoole LTC is a successful and friendly tennis club for all the family. The club is conveniently located close to the centre of Hoole and boasts five all-weather courts, two with floodlights, in pleasant surroundings. Clubhouse facilities include changing rooms with showers and toilets, table tennis, and a bar. The club also has priority use of three recently updated all- weather courts at Alexandra Park just five minutes walk away. Hoole LTC has been awarded the prestigious LTA Clubmark Accreditation after meeting high standards across all of the club’s facilities and activities. LTA qualified professional coaches offer group and individual coaching to all ages and abilities, all year-round. Adult coaching available includes ‘rusty racket’ sessions, ladies’ morning groups,
intermediate group coaching, private tuition, and cardio-tennis sessions are planned to start this summer. A comprehensive mini-tennis (ages 4-10) and junior (ages 11-18) coaching programme is delivered at the club with sessions running term-time weekday evenings and weekends, and fun days or holiday camps taking place during school breaks. Hoole LTC provides competition for all levels and ages throughout the year promoting fair play and fun competition. Senior and junior teams compete in local and inter-club leagues and mini-tennis teams regularly take part in competitive events.
