Year off with a song: sing with the acclaimed, 90-voice (and grow- ing) Greater South Jersey Cho- rus.


Under noted Artistic Director Dean Rishel, the chorus has earned widespread attention for its beautiful sound and thought- ful interpretations. The chorus is looking for new members and has set auditions for Dec. 29 at the Unitarian Uni- versalist Church, 401 Kings High- way, Cherry Hill. Auditions begin at 6 p.m. Interested singers (basses,


tenors, altos and sopranos) may reserve time slots by calling the


chorus personnel director, Rose, at 858-0987. Rishel, a retired career music


educator, currently conducts both the GSJC and the Philadelphia Voices of Pride (PVOP). He is an accomplished singer


and vocal coach who has per- formed in and conducted operas. The chorus often premieres


new works by Rishel, a published composer and arranger, while presenting a broad and eclectic repertoire including major choral works, American folk and spiritu- al music, opera, jazz, stage and sa- cred compositions. With his diverse background and experience, current chorus
