My fascination for vintage comes from living on the breadline, and luckily enough having a mum who managed a charity shop. Instead of throwing away all of the strange yes- teryear gear in the bin and keeping the safe, pensioner friendly knit- wear, my mum had rails and rails of outrageous vintage clobber filling the

shop, and ended up selling to some of the UK’s biggest vintage buyers! I got first dibs, although only when I could afford it. I got a real buzz from finding that hidden gem…that one off that fits like a glove. It makes a dress feel like it was destined to be yours!
I think vintage clothing and ink go hand in hand, for those people who
refuse to conform, and can’t help but express their fabulous inner selves.
