I’m So Ladycat, a 26 year old French singer, model and author. I’ve recorded many songs, wrote a poetry book, and I did modelling for suicidegirls.

here are three explanations for my passion of tattoos. The first one is that I have, or had at least, a really bad opinion of my body. I didn’t believe in myself and I didn’t feel satisfied with the human body. So, it’s a way to hide my hu- man nature. It works, at least a bit! I think that we have the chance to be born with a virgin skin, a kind of virgin painting, so we have to use it as an artistic thing.


The second one is that I love to suffer under needles! It helps me to channel my emotional evil. The last one is that I want to do everything I want with my body and my life. I do not care about people who judge, I’m not the kind of per- son who accepts to “go into compart- ments” - it’s a French expression! My tattooed skin represents my love for art, my fear of life, my doubts and my emotions. Basically, I show on my skin how I am inside!


I think that we have the chance to be born with a


virgin skin, a kind of virgin painting, so we have to use it as an artistic thing.
