Crazy Leo and Chrissie Beavis struggled with mechanical problems, halting any hope of landing on the podium. Defi also saw some of the hottest two wheel drive competition of the season, with Simon Dube taking the class win by just two seconds over the Zedrils at the end of the event. At the Pacific Forest Rally,
the penultimate round of the series, L'Estage and Richard drove to position themselves for the final assault on the championship. L'Estage kept the event clean, winning the top spot – his fifth win in six events when counting Ameri-
can events. Richard and Ock- well struggled with small prob- lems. A flat tire and a close call
clipping a cow prevented the pair from fighting for first and instead the two drove for points to ensure a strong man- ufacturer's points position for Subaru. Third place went to Leo Urlichich and Chrissie Beavis. The last two stages were full of issues for Crazy Leo, from flat tires to a stuck throttle and overheating brakes. The two wheel drive title was wrapped up by Jan and Jody Zedril at PFR. Not only have the brother's
earned themselves the driver and co-driver titles, but have also clinched the two wheel drive title for Mitsubishi. Tall Pines will challenge teams with notoriously tricky conditions, with just one crew rising above to be crowned 2010 Canadian Rally Champion. Can L'Estage win his third
