With 21 entries, ranging in price from $152,900 to $1,196,400, the Fall Parade offers something for everyone’s taste and budget. Our chairman of the Fall Parade of Homes™, Keith Gover of Q Homes, Inc., has asked me to share with you our format for this Fall Parade. On October 16th
, impartial industry professionals
from counties outside Brevard will volunteer their time to judge the homes and determine the awards. We are grateful to Shay Rowe, owner of Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi of Melbourne, for providing the official vehicles for the 2010 Fall Parade of Homes™ to transport the judges for the day.
There will be a Platinum Award and Gold Award for Best Overall in each price category. Additionally, the judges will present a Merit Award for the best judged feature of each home. This concept focuses not only on the best homes in each price category, but also on the features of the homes in which the buyers are most interested. A Craftsmanship Award also will be presented for the best craftsmanship exhibited by a trade partner in each home.
The outstanding centerpieces of the Parade of Homes™ are the official Luxury Showcase Home and the Net Zero Energy Showcase Home. The spectacular Luxury Showcase Home, the “Villa Venezia SL,” is presented by Honeymoon Hill Constructors and can be viewed in the Cortona community of Viera. The Net Zero Energy Showcase Home, the “St. Croix,” is presented by LifeStyle Homes and can be viewed in Tralee Bay Estates, Capron Ridge, Viera.
Over half of the HBCA is comprised of our associate trade members. For everything that goes into these homes, from state-of-the-art building materials to landscaping, we depend on these quality, driven associates. Without these talented trade partners and their products and services we could not present you with the homes you will enjoy viewing in this Parade!
Come visit the homes of some of our finest builders, constructed by the best quality craftsmen and dispersed within the most desirable communities throughout the county.
