ADVANTAGES OF REMODELING WITH ARCHITECTURAL FOAM • Lightweight for easy installation • Cost effective compared to wood, cement and plaster • Impervious to a wide temperature range

• High R factor (which measures thermal resistance) for enhanced insulation qualities

To add interest and a bit of curb appeal, Architectural Foam & Art used nonstructural balustrade units below double windows, transforming this home’s façade.

Before

• Very strong in comparison to its weight • Durable • Does not support bacterial growth • Moisture resistant • Versatile and can be used indoors and outdoors

Before

Architectural Foam & Art transformed this plain two-story home into a Key West-style getaway with faux pineapple shutters, decorative banding and an address sign.

Industrial-strength adhesives are used to attach foam trim to exterior or interior wall or ceiling surfaces. After details are attached, they are preserved using a high-quality sealer.

As noted, architectural foam is not limited to the outside of your home. With a little artistic flair, you can create a new interior for your home as well. Use of this material for interiors includes fireplace facings, ceiling medallions, faux wood beams and coffered ceilings.

Foam details can be coated and finished with almost any type of water-based coating. Many decorative and faux-finishing products may be used on foam to simulate surfaces such as wood, Venetian plaster and metals. Do it yourself or hire a professional. It’s your choice.

Architectural foam provides the economic versatility of which no other material can compete. As it’s lightweight, easy to install and available in unlimited custom options, you can personalize any space and transform it from boring to beautiful.

Before

Before its architectural foam remodel, this 1989 ranch-style home had accents of flat banding only. With the addition of a detail molding over the flat banding, trim molding around the arches and a few decorative medallions, the house is transformed.

Before

Crown molding and partial columns created with architectural foam have been used to make over this outdoor patio.
