Fan Mail Just a short note of thanks to WT for the beautiful layout of my article, “Discovering Ruslan's Past” in the March/ April issue. Also a thank you to Amy Halley for taking the time to visit with a horse she had not seen in several years. I have received a lot of positive feedback from horse owners of all disciplines as well as folks wishing to investigate the past of their horse. Mostly, I wish to thank my parents for instilling in us

their love for animals, especially horses. I know if they were alive today, they would delight in seeing me and Ruslan together.

Here’s my check to renew my subscription to Warmbloods Today—love the magazine especially your column “Conformation Corner” by Judy Wardrope! Sally Fish, Tarentum, PA

Please put me on your reminder list since I wouldn't want to miss a single issue. Loving the magazine. Can you do your “Conformation Corner” on some of the old "greats" like Ahlerich, Big Ben, and JJ Babu? Keep up the great work!

Jaye Fisher, Didsbury, AB, Canada

I have subscriptions to several magazines. This is the only one I read cover to cover!!

I found a copy of your magazine at the CDI The Golden State Dressage Festival, April 8–11 in California. I was the official FEI bit inspector. What a surprise! While I was reading “Cardi : The Little Horse That Could,” I discovered that their wonderful stallion was my favorite horse to check all

three days. What a horse! Cardi is a real gentleman and has such good manners. I so enjoyed your new magazine. Very informative

and educational articles. I have enclosed my subscription. Thank you. Susan Lombardi, San Francisco, CA

I just wanted to tell you how much I love your magazine and how I love this opportunity for Warmblood people to really shine. I own the Holsteiner stallion, Cheecon, one of the very, very few Cheenook sons in America. I currently live in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma and have a hard time finding people out here who even know who he is (I am in Quarterhorse land). I also am not set up for A.I., so people outside of a driving distance are difficult for me to appeal to. I am in college and will be finishing this degree and moving in about a year and a half to go to graduate school. I don't want to lose contact with WT so please

stay in touch. I will be moving to a more progressive area (not sure which school yet, but deciding on a Warmblood friendly place is a definite!) and when I'm set up there I certainly want to advertise in your magazine!
