Dear Fellow Sillimanians and Friends,


On behalf of the newly inducted officers of 2009-2011, I would like to thank you all for coming tonight. Your presence makes this a special night to remember.


Because of your help and generosity, tonight we are able to raise more than five thousand dollars. The proceeds will go to the Development Programs of Silliman University. I hope that all of us will continue to hold Silliman close to our hearts and think of ways of how we can help our dear Alma Mater.


My deep appreciation goes to all volunteers, committee chair and members, and officers, for always attending the meetings, for working tirelessly and devotedly in order to make this a successful event. My heartfelt thanks to all of you.


For the past Presidents who are here tonight, Dr. Lowell Taclob, Ester Taclob- Suelto, Evangeline Bravo-Manjares, Joel Pal and Joji Juele-Jalandoni, for your leadership, initiatives and mentorship, thank you so much. Because of all that you have done, we have become what we are today.


The success of tonight’s occasion reminds us all of what we can achieve by working together. Our strength will be stronger if we are united in mind and spirit. Let the Silliman spirit bind us all together, forever!
