ENVIRO-SEEL
Enviro-seel designs and manufactures cable systems for harsh environments providing high integrity sealing for the oil, rail and aircraft industries alongside military applications since 1992 and are located in Andover, Hampshire.
The application of hot pressure injection thermoplastic moulding processes produce a completely amalgamated termination in the same material as the cable jacket, which guarantees no leak paths and the durability of the cable jacket material is retained. This technology covers the total spectrum of electrical signal, coaxial and power, plus fibre optic applications. Functional performance ranges over 1000A, 28000V, 208 contacts, 1250psi and 10,000 pressure cycles including underwater explosive shock testing in excess of 2000g.
We continue to develop these techniques and to offer innovative solutions including our new technology ‘Linear Seal’ patent pending that works on any cable jacket material and can be used in conjunction with traditional moulding techniques to provide double sealing integrity.
Military applications such as connector harnesses, penetrators and pressure hull glands for submarines using this proven technology have been in service for 50 years.
