LEI GAMING INTRODUCED AT CASINO BUCHAREST Bucharest, Romania, April 2010

Following the receipt of approval from the Gaming Commission on the previous day, Casino Bucharest was delighted to finally be able to introduce gaming in the local Roma- nian currency from 1 April 2010.

At one minute past opening on 1 April, the first player into the casino placed his bet on the LEI American Roulette table and was pre- sented with a bottle of vintage Champagne to celebrate the occasion. Approximately one third of visitors played with lei during the evening, with a significant minority playing in both currencies (euro and lei). The reac- tion from patrons has already been very en- couraging, and the casino expects to notice the positive impact of the change over the coming months.
