SAN DIEGO HUMAN DIGNITY FOUNDATION PRESENTS THE ART OF GENEROSITY
SDHDF asks: “What better way to start your summer?” It’s certainly a valid question,
with all the charitable events that ask you to dress to impress in your hottest cocktail attire. Of all the venues in which to show off your new summer look, the spirit of philan- thropy should persuade you to look no further. The San Diego Human Dignity Foundation’s annual gala, The Art of Generosity
returns to Anthology on Saturday, June 12. From 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., guests will enjoy a complimentary cocktail, easy access to open bars throughout the multi-level layout, tray-passed hors d’oeuvres, the culinary artistry of Executive Chef Eric Bauer and world-class live jazz entertainment from the crowd-pleasing Anthology House Band. Proceeds from the event benefit the programs of SDHDF. Purchase your Grand Style
Reserved Seating and High-Style General Admission tickets now at artofgenerosity. org. Partners in Philanthropy are invited to arrive earlier and enjoy a special reception exclusively for PIP ticketholders. For questions about the beneficiary programs and event details, call 619.291.3383 or visit

NATIONAL HIV TESTING DAY
Everyone could use a little peace of mind. Especially when it comes to HIV.
More than 1 million people in the United States are estimated to be living with HIV. However, one out of every four might not know that they are HIV-infected. On Sunday, June 27, the Faith-Based Working Group (FBWG) of the Kemet Coalition will be hosting a National HIV Testing Day event in the parking lot of the Rite Aid at 1735 Euclid Ave. in San Diego. Along with HIV testing, this event will offer advocacy, education and prevention information, and increase awareness of HIV/AIDS in San Diego County from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Free and confidential HIV testing will be provided, courtesy of the County of San Diego. The Rapid HIV Test detects whether or not a person has been exposed to the HIV virus by way of an oral sample; test results are produced within twenty minutes. No blood draws or needles are required. For HIV testing sites near you, visit
