Suzan, a long-time horsewoman, is now the proud owner of and “mother” to what she calls “our two little miracles,” twin Iberian Warmblood colts named Pancho and Lefty. She made the decision to breed her daughter’s Thoroughbred mare, a proven broodmare, because of her impressive bloodlines and because she was intrigued by Iberian Warmbloods—the breed that results from crossing Lusitanos or Andalusians with other breeds. (In order to register these horses, they must have at least 25% Iberian blood.) Here is her story...
