ach new year seems to call for a period of rebirth, a
reintegration of mind, body and spirit that empow-
ers us to make positive changes. Ideally, we recon-
sider choices, learn lessons and practice forgiveness, both
for ourselves and others. It is a poignant time to focus
on what is and could be if we can just follow our heart
and not get caught up in all the “stuff.” The New Year is a
good time to make room for progress.

I began this letter enroute home from my first
annual Natural Awakenings Healthy Living Publisher’s Publisher
Conference, in Enota, Georgia. There, I bonded with 50
