PHASE 1: CHICKEN AND EGG PRODUCTION FACILITY

The Poultry Farm project is part of sustainable agriculture/ microenterprise initiative. This project
was developed for children who are displaced for reasons of War, Sexual traffic, or because they are
HIV positive or have lost one or both parents to AIDS.
The idea of this project is not a cure for AIDS, nor will it eradicate extreme poverty, neither
transforms those children situation over night. What it may accomplish and what we have seen it
do is offer the children we are assisting:
1. A supplemental income for medical and school fees
2. A supplemental diet for improved nutrition
3. The possibility to build an education on self sustainability
4. Empowerment and self reliance
5. Bringing back hope for the future and Possibilities

In addition, this project will provide a steady generation of income to help and support Thousand
of War Children from North Uganda5




5 The Poultry Project has projected to provide approximately $3,000 per month for 3 years. This implies that
$108,000 will be yielded from the Project to support the neediest society of the war torn zone.
