The Social Benefits of the Model Farm go far beyond the costs involved with its development. These
include:
 To deliver all practical skills of human sustainable development closer to the children at
school in addition to class work.
 To promote the nutrition cycle of the children as the eggs and chickens are be used in
providing meals for an improved diet.
 To ensure a timely support for the needy basing on the local available resources as the hens
and eggs will act as the major source of daily income, to eradicate the spirit of dependence
and promote self-sustainability of the beneficiaries.
 To illustrate compassion and practical love for the war victims on a daily basis as more
donations are gradually made.
 To reduce malnutrition among war affected children and Ugandans in general. Hence,
poultry is playing a large role in the agriculture development and human welfare.
 To minimize over-straining in the day-to-day activities those require funding.
