Loyal Grove Leisure LLP has recently completed two
new water slide installations in the UK.
A Loyal Grove 4 lane multislide has been installed at
the Metrodome in Barnsley on behalf of Barnsley
Premier Leisure.
The slide starts from an upper balcony and descends
over the existing pool area before terminating in an
‘Aquacatch’ landing system supported over a disused
concrete bridge.
New access walkway with staircase, launch platform
and exit deck with steps, all in GRP were also installed to
complete the slide (above).
The newly refurbished Whitley Bay Leisure Centre
on Tyneside now includes a Loyal Grove 3 lane multislide
complete with a chequered flag race theme and traffic
light start system, installed on behalf of Certikin
International Ltd.
Both slide installations include an ‘Aquacatch’ landing
system rather than a conventional splash pool, which
enables non-swimmers to use the slide.
Slide and associated support steelwork is designed in
accordance with BS.EN.1069.
Supporting steelwork is finished galvanised to
BS.EN.1461 and painted with a 2-pack epoxy paint
system to colour of choice.
GRP slide components can be made in any combination
of colours from a standard B.S. or RAL colour range.

Greater throughput than single lane flumes
Less supervision required for larger volume of riders
