HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROJECT WERE…
One of the key achievements for me was
the opportunity to present my work at
international conferences in London and
Barcelona, and having it published in
peer review journals. The project
management skills I acquired helped me
to develop the relationship between the
knowledge base and the organisation,
and manage the expectations of both. I
enjoyed putting theoretical knowledge
from the University into practice in the
real world.
THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A
KTP ASSOCIATE IS…
KTP gives you the opportunity to have
day-to-day management of a key strategic
project. The access to academia whilst
working within an organisation, and
seeing theory put into practice, is
something that you wouldn’t get in a
normal role. KTP allows you to work with
experts and the knowledge I have gained
from them has had a very positive impact
on my work with people affected by
breast cancer.
FROM KTP I HAVE LEARNT…
The training budget provided by KTP is
fantastic. I have attended courses
directly relevant to my work at Breast
Cancer Care as well as managerial
courses. These have helped me to
