world, stretching south to southern
Chile.
June 1: We and Boo, the menopausal
van, towing a 27 ft trailer are ready
to tackle our third working vacation
selling at farmers’ markets and
bookstores as we leave Powell River
20 min south of Mile O.
Two ferries later we made our way
through Vancouver traffic headed
for Hope and onto the Fraser
Canyon. This route winds along the
mountains above the roaring Fraser
River with less steep climbing for
Boo than the Coquihalla.
We’d made reservations at Blue
Lake Resort, and are reassured a

but up. Boo laboured so badly we
didn’t think she’d make it. We would
have liked to have been informed

In Kamloops we’ve booked
Silver Sage RV Park by the South
Thompson River for five days so
we can visit family and work both
farmers’ markets. In 30+ heat we
worked the Wednesday downtown
market, and the Saturday market.
