Have a blast with comedian Jason Dudey and the emcee for the night, Friend of
Dorothy’s very own Tupperware Lady Dee W IEYE! Also appearing will be Dorothy
Spirus. She’s performed several original shows at The Second City in LA and her
hilarious one-woman show, Children of a Lesser Goddess in Hollywood, Long
Beach and OC. Sample Krol Vodka and drink creations, the “Yellow Brick Road”
and the “Ruby Red Slipper.” Proceeds benefit AIDS Services Foundation of Orange

Wednesday, July 15, a reception will be held at The Center Long Beach
to acknolowge the volunteers who “make it happen” to help The Center
Long Beach. This year, Ellen Ward and Walton McNulty will be honored
for their continuing support of the LGBTQ community and their com-
mitment to the fight against HIV and AIDS. The reception takes place
from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Center Long Beach is located at 2017

sAddLe uP LA, An Aids BeneFit horseBAck trAiL ride
And country BBQ
Help raise funds For HIV/AIDS services and have a great time! The purpose of
Saddle Up L.A.—an AIDS Benefit Horseback Trail Ride—is two fold: first, to provide
financial support to The Life Group L.A. so they may continue providing educa-
tion, empowerment and support to persons infected and affected by HIV/AIDS;
and secondly, to raise awareness of the fact that the AIDS pandemic is not over.
The ride is an affirmation of the power of compassion and a demonstration that
ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things.
On July 11 the 2 1/2 hour afternoon/evening trail ride begins at the famous
Diamond Bar Riding Stable in Burbank, CA. The 2 1/2 hour ride will be led by this
year’s esteemed Honorary Trail Guide’s, Christopher Showerman and Leslie Jor-
dan! Trails chosen are suitable for most any rider and riding ability and will weave
