The tourist features at Land’s
End are somewhat tacky but the
place has its uses for the weary
hiker. Refreshments and toilets are
available, and just at the other side of
the car park is the bus stop which has

or Penzance. The last bus is at 19.30.

to Zennor, another of my all-time
favourites, somewhat wilder and
more remote. This is a real challenge
and one that needs to be treated
with respect. Then you can push
on to St Ives… and on it goes.
