GROUP The Cowra Public School Girls’ Dance Group is very excited to be competing at the Cowra Eisteddfod on Tuesday, 29 May in the 2.00pm session.


The girl’s will be rehearsing during lunchtimes in addition to their Wednesday sessions.


The girl’s require:  White t-shirt 


Black ¾ leggings


Please advise Mrs Duncan urgently if you are not able to provide either of the required clothing items.


The girls would like as many parents and friends to come along and support them. Please remember a small fee will be charged to enter the Civic Centre.


Providing we have enough parent helpers the girls will also be performing at the Western Region Dance Festival in Bathurst on 5 June.


A letter will be sent home today.


PRIMARY CHOIR


Congratulations to the Primary choir, who did their school proud last Friday in the Cowra Eisteddfod, achieving second place.


The Primary choir sung “ I am Australian” and the “Crawdad Hole”.


The choir was


complimented on their lovely diction and singing along with good pitch.


The choir was also noted for their great presentation. Many parents and community members commented


on


how well the choir performed and how impressive


looked in their school uniforms.


Thank you to Mrs Mary-Ann Wright for accompanying the choir on the piano.


Mrs Hilton does an excellent job getting the students up to standard.
