he opening of the 2010 Calleen Art Award and Regional Artists Award is on Friday 16 April 2010

commencing at 6.30pm. The exhibition of this years finalist’s will be opened by Cr Bill West Mayor, Cowra Shire Council followed by announcement the Award Winners by the awards judge.

The invited Judge for 2010 is Professor Amanda Lawson Dean, Faculty of Creative Arts at the University of Wollongong.

There is an impressive line up of fifty five artists selected as finalists this

year, including Lucy Buttenshaw, Tracy Dods, Garry Foye, Victor Gordon, James Guppy, Ruth Le Cheminant, Jeff Makin, Kerry McInnis, Annabel Nowlan, Aida Pottinger, Jack Randell, Lara Scolari, Stephen Spurrier, Gloria Stern and Tim Winters.

The Calleen Art Award is an acquisitive art award and winners from the past four years are shown clockwise from above right:
