Run around
This is a good game to play in a gym or sports hall.
Organisation
• Mark out 3 areas in the sports hall labelled A, B and C
• The pupils all start in the centre of the room and are
asked a multiple choice question
• They then run to one of the three areas
• The teacher then shouts ‘run around’ and the pupils have
a short time limit to get to the correct area
• The pupils who got the answer correct score points for
getting it right and these points are based on how many
pupils got it wrong (e.g. if A was the correct answer and
there was a total of 15 pupils standing in areas B and C all
those pupils standing in A get 15 points each)
• The idea of the game is for the pupils to try and trick the
other pupils, so they may not run to the correct area
straight away
• After a question all the pupils go back to the centre of
the room.
