Sample Analysis

Whether you are working within a commercial or domestic environment, if you suspect or if you’re simply unsure if the area within which you are working may be housing asbestos containing materials, you would be right to be cau- tious and to take every care when you proceed with any work.

The first thing you would need to do is to determine whether asbestos is indeed present. By using the latest technol- ogy – the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Assist sample and test materials with the specific view to identify the presence of asbestos. Our fully audited and electronically independent EDX results (with or without graphic electron images) will tell whether asbestos was found and which type of asbestos is present. Results can be sent via mail, email, telephone or text.

If no asbestos is found, your work can proceed, if however we do identify asbestos in the materials sampled we will in all instances advise on the next appropriate steps to be taken. Your safety is our paramount concern.

The thorough EDX analysis provides employers with greater assurance of employee safety and the peace of mind of compliance with Control of Asbestos Regulation 2006.
