Automated Dynamic Light Scattering for Nanoparticles

The DynaPro Plate Reader II from Wyatt is an automated dynamic light scattering (DLS) instrument for the unattended and rapid analysis of protein solutions, quantum dots or nanoparticle samples in solution. An onboard

camera photographs each well so that sample purity, bubble formation, crystallization and other phenomena can be examined visually. Sample volume requirements are fewer than 5 μL, and measurement times can be reduced by a factor of 10, meaning thousands of analyses can be performed in a single day.

Sympatec’s modular image analysis sensor QICPIC combines size and shape analysis of particulate systems from 1 µm to 34,000 µm. As seen at Pittcon, flexible adaption to powders, granules, fibers, suspensions and emulsions is provided by a wide range of dispersing and dosing units. OASIS provides dry and wet

measurement in just one dispersion system. Statistically sound and meaningful results are based on a great number of measured particles.

AFP is launching its Intelligent Plasma Assisted Purifier System, IPAPS, which features a plasma to increase the lifetime of the heated gettering alloy, a genuine end-of-life monitoring system, unique impurity overload detection and a capacity of 1 L/min. The IPAPS is well-suited for applications like gas purification, zero gas generator used for calibration of on-line analyzers, mass spectrometer and detection techniques such as PED (plasma emission detector), HID, DID, FID, PDID, TCD and ECD.

Clippard’s Miniature Pinch Valves are an Excellent Choice!

Pinch valves are an excellent alternative to traditional mechanical valves when media contamination is a concern, as they interact with medical grade tubing, and never touch the material being dispensed.

Clippard’s new compact 2-way series off ers four styles with multiple size, tubing and pressure options, making them ideal for pharmaceutical, laboratory, medical and chemical industries, among others. Proudly made in the USA.

Dispensing a single liquid over a series of destinations is a cumbersome and tiring task when using common pipettes. Eppendorf’s Repeater pipettes make this task effi cient and eff ortless by allowing up to 100 dispenses from a single

aspiration. Dispensed volumes can range from 1 μL up to 50 mL. Eppendorf’s Repeater pipettes are available as mechanical (Repeater M4) or electronic models (Repeater stream/Xstream and the soon to be released E3/E3x).
