DISTRICT 5 — EASTERN OKLAHOMA Tractors, Saddles, Four-Wheelers and Ranch Equipment Stolen in Northeast Oklahoma

(TSCRA) Special Ranger John Cummings reports the theft of a tractor and other ranch equipment from a property near Nowata in Nowata County. After Jan. 6, a thief or thieves entered a barn to steal a New Holland TN 75 open station 4×4 tractor, serial no. 001276911; a New Holland 32LA loader, serial no. S2E0278; a Honeywell 6500 generator; and a metal 4-wheel utility wagon. In another case, sometime after Jan. 25, additional equip-


ment was stolen from a property near Muskogee: A 32-foot black PJ gooseneck fl atbed trailer; 2 brown saddles; Suzuki 4-wheeler; Polaris 4-wheeler; Honda 4-wheeler; and assort- ed cow medicines and vaccines. If you have any information on these cases, please call Cummings at 918-342-0888.

rolais bull missing from a pasture near Forney in Kaufman County. The 6-year-old bull weighs 1,800 pounds and has an H brand on the left hip and ENT branded on his right side. If you have any information regarding this case, please call McKinney at 903-945-4011.


DISTRICT 14 — EAST TEXAS Authorities Seeking Information on Freestone County Thefts

ties are seeking information leading to the arrest or indict- ment of a suspect or suspects involved in the theft of cattle and equipment in Freestone County. Dickson and the Freestone County Sheriff’s Depart-


ment are investigating numerous thefts that occurred over the past several months. According to Dickson, sev- eral of the crimes occurred in or near Donie. Cattle have been stolen from several individuals who had cattle held

DISTRICT 24 — GULF COAST Three Stolen Angus Cattle Recovered, Owner Sought TSCRA Law Enforcement has recovered 3 Angus cows


and are hoping to fi nd the proper owners. The cattle are un- branded, though they may have previously had ear tags. The owner may be a weekender or someone who hasn’t missed the cattle yet, has not reported them as missing or has re- ported them to an agency that doesn’t report to TSCRA or local special ranger. If anyone has a neighbor or friend who is missing cattle matching this description or if you have a neighbor who has this type cattle and doesn’t count them frequently, please notify them and/or your special ranger. The cattle are believed to be from the southeast Texas area, possibly Wharton or Ft. Bend counties or an adjoining area.


Three Cattle Shot, 1 Dies in Fort Bend County TSCRA Special Ranger Tommy Charbula reports that 3


cattle were shot in a pasture near Richmond in Fort Bend County. The cattle were apparently shot with a .22-caliber weapon from a nearby road on Jan. 25. Two bulls survived, but a cow died. Anyone with information in this case is urged to call Charbula at 361-782-5209.


Heifers Stolen in Southeast Texas Charbula reports the theft of 6 heifers from a proper-


ty between Bellville in Austin County and Chappell Hill in Washington County. After Feb. 7, a thief or thieves removed a lock and chain to load the cattle from a loading pen. Miss- ing are a red brindle heifer with a motley face, 1 Charolais- Jersey cross heifer with horns clipped about 1 inch from her head; 1 Beefmaster heifer with horns clipped about 1 inch from her head; and 3 purebred white Charolais heifers.
