his summer art aficionados in San Diego will be able to catch a wave while beating the heat and

staying dry. ECG Seaport Village will be hosting Steve Barton, creator of the “wavy” frame, and David Wight, sculptor of waves, at its annual anniversary show.

Collectors of paintings and sculptures will be able to come together to enjoy Barton’s colorful California coastal scenes and Wight’s rendition of beauty, grace, and the power of water.

Both artists use their environments as their

inspiration — Wight works in a studio in Seattle where the power of the magnificent Pacific is on full display, aiming to capture for all the therapeutic power in its grace and beauty, and Barton loves to spend spare moments combing areas for inspiration.
