igurative sculpture has its roots in antiquity dating back to 400 b.c. For the sculptor the figure is by its very nature a reflection of human perfection, as found in many of the great works by such historic artists as Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci

F and Donatello.

In contrast to other art mediums, the beauty of sculpture is found in the actual “mass” in which it is created, be it bronze, rock, or other forms.

Contemporary artist, Tuan Nguyen ren- ders his work in bronze, the traditional medium of the great masters preserving the heavenly figures for fu- ture generations.
