Book families a beachside hotel so they can enjoy Dubai’s year-round sun and warm waters. For direct access to the beach, Atlantis, The Palm or JA Jebel Ali Beach Hotel are good options. Sand or snow
Book them a desert safari with camel riding, sandboarding and 4WD thrills amongst shifting sands. Or, for something completely diff erent, schedule a Ski Dubai session, where kids can learn to ski, try zorbing or zip off on a toboggan in Dubai’s coolest attraction – literally!
Aquatic adventures
Be sure they make a splash with a trip to Aquaventure or Wild Wadi
waterparks. Younger kids can relax in the wave pool or slip and slide safely along a lazy river, while teenagers will love the gravity-defying thrills of slides like the Poseidon’s Revenge, where riders can reach 60kmph, and the heart-pounding Jumeirah Sceirah!
Feed the turtles and the kids Head to Madinat Jumeirah Resort and families can explore the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project. They’ll hear about the conservation and rescue of its resident injured turtles and feed them up close. Afterwards, the family can fi ll up on tacos and nachos at the aptly named Tortuga, an informal Mexican restaurant in the resort.

At the base of the Burj Khalifa, they can watch the Dubai Fountain, the world’s largest choreographed fountain system.
