ince 1880, the ACA has been continuously refining its outreach and education programs to represent almost all paddling disciplines and
levels of ability. One of the new ideas we are trying, which you may have seen in some stores, is offering free ACA membership via hang-tags on select products. ACA wants to support people who purchase paddling-related equipment by providing a free one-year beginner membership. If someone is buying paddling related equipment, ACA is confident they will like what the ACA does for education, exploration, competition, stewardship and insurance. Our members continue to apply a steering stroke to the Association and
help keep the national office focused on issues both local and national. Whether it’s for our Paddle Ready app, our educational program support, or a
connection to our great paddling community, become a member, follow us— after all, it is the year of the sheep in the zodiac calendar. 2015 has a number of great events and programs looking for your participation. Join the flock!
