he office fit-out of Cannon Place in London has included the installation of a Delmatic lighting management

system which extends from the existing Delmatic system within shell and core areas of the building. The award-winning development includes over 46,000 sq.m of offices, and the unique ‘inside-out’ design of the building with its exposed skeleton is an architectural response to its location directly above a major mainline station. Delmatic initially provided lighting controls for shell and core areas throughout the building, including

scene setting within the dramatic reception areas, as well as two office fit-out floors: this latest contract extends the system into the remaining office floors. Each floor comprises four potential tenant zones and demands considerable flexibility to meet the individual requirements of different tenants. The Delmatic system offers total flexibility with individual addressable control of each luminaire through Dali plug-in lighting control modules.

incorporating patented cooling technology for optimum performance and reliability, the GX1 High Bay represents an unprecedented breakthrough in future proof industrial lighting with innovative design. Superior performance lies

at the heart of the new Goodlight GX1.

Integrating a Bridgelux Vero circular LED chip with a radial die pattern results in significantly improved lumen density and beam control. This, in turn, provides excellent true colour reproduction with two and three colour SDCM colour control/management. Uniform white light is assured at colour temperatures of 3000K, 4000K and 5000K. An ingenious, nano-coated reflector, incorporating a special light- scattering coating, boosts light yields by 10%. With an efficacy of 107 Lm/W, the GX1 provides an improved lux performance compared to a 400W traditional high bay light.

Stainless steel one-piece design

D

ialight (LSE: DIA.L), the innovative global leader in LED lighting technology, today introduced the emergency version of its SafeSite and DuroSite Stainless Steel Linear fixtures with a new one-piece design. The well-established emergency

fixtures,

available with both CE and ATEX certifications, provide at least three hours and up to eight hours of battery backup in temperatures from -20°C to +65°C. With the ability to operate at this wide ranging temperature and featuring Dialight’s exclusive integrated battery, the emergency fixtures provide the best alternative to conventional emergency luminaires and will meet the needs of a larger scope of emergency lighting applications. The fixtures are ideal for industrial and hazardous applications, offering optimal safety, reliability and illumination in an emergency, and particularly in applications prone to vibration and shock. Traditional luminaires will suffer from a shortened lamp life in these environments, whereas Dialight’s emergency fixtures are designed to withstand harsh surroundings, including the added security of a one piece design and 316 Marine grade stainless steel housing.
