KYOCERA has developed a range of apps powered by HyPAS which is designed to optimise the performance of KYOCERA’s award-winning MFPs with custom, integrated software applications that simplify complex document workflows.
For primary school teachers who need a little help with their class-test marking, KYOCERA’s app called Teaching Assistant is at hand to automatically mark student papers on the MFP, ensuring accurate test reporting and allowing teachers more time to focus on their students. The intuitive app streamlines the marking of multiple-choice tests so that when combined with a KYOCERA MFP you can automatically print, scan, mark and analyse students’ tests and get detailed reporting on test results. It saves time and avoids errors and goes some way to make the pressurised lives of teachers a little easier.
Login Manager is a FREE app which provides the truly small office environment with an authentication service. Login Manager can lock down a KYOCERA printer and ensure secure printing with its serverless user authentication. Available from

PinPoint Scan takes the hassle out of scanning from an MFP to a personal PC by creating a peer- to-peer scanning environment. With no need for any IT admin intervention, users can scan from any KYOCERA MFP in their network by entering a personal PIN they select themselves on the MFP’s intuitive control panel and scan directly to the selected destination. Each user can define their personal scanning destinations improving document workflow, ending time spent searching email for scanned documents and incurring costly desktop scanners. Print & Follow delivers accessible and affordable secure printing. There is no need for a costly print server which makes Print & Follow perfect for slightly larger office environments who don’t want to spend on a print server and wish to benefit from reduced printing waste and the associated costs.
Designed to improve SME productivity, Print & Follow’s one-touch operation is very user-friendly and means users can control precisely where they want scanned documents to go. Documents are sent to a universal queue and users retrieve their documents at their choice of MFP where they stay secure until the user is authenticated. KYOCERA Mobile Print is another FREE app which helps mobile users to print and send files, scans and images from their mobile devices to selected KYOCERA document imaging devices in their network. With Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) driving mobility, students want to connect their own iPhone, iPad or Android Smartphone and tablet to the school’s resources. KYOCERA’s innovative technology, powering both multifunctional products and mobile apps, offers a truly mobile experience for students who just want a simple way to print and scan quickly from their mobile devices.
Another FREE app from KYOCERA is Cloud Connect which enables scanning from the device to the Cloud and printing from the cloud to the device via service providers Evernote® and Google Drive™, directly from HyPAS enabled KYOCERA multifunction product control panels. Cloud Connect provides a seamless connection from the Cloud to all your files and importantly allows easy access to documents, whenever and wherever you are, just by using the KYOCERA MFP* control panel - there is no need for a computer, tablet or Smartphone.
Users can log into, upload scanned files and store files to their account on Google Drive™ and Evernote® directly from the touch screen control panel of the KYOCERA MFP and vice versa, when a hardcopy of any document is needed, users can print directly from the cloud services to their KYOCERA device in file formats including JPEG, PDF and TIFF. Files can be easily found by browsing tagged or starred content, or by searching for keywords, eliminating the need for a computer or mobile device, mobile memory device and the need to transport hardcopy. So remember there is a wide range of apps designed to help you in your school’s office environment.
