The entrance of Hall 8 is apparently the place to hear announcements of major new advancements in broadcast audio technology. HHB and audio post subsidiary Scrub have been joined by co-exhibitors Dynaudio, Mogami, Roland and TC Electronic. The latter is launching several new additions to its production and broadcast product ranges. The reseller advised that with the DPP's file-based delivery target of 1 October imminent, compliance with the EBU R128 loudness standard is an extremely relevant subject for IBC visitors. Accordingly HHB is exhibiting the latest loudness metering and correction technologies in hardware and software for acquisition, production and transmission, from manufacturers including TC Electronic, Wohler, Dolby and Nugen Audio.
