What can viewers expect from you as Emmy host? I don’t sing or dance, so you can expect none of that, but knowing my shortcomings will allow me to focus on my strengths, which is telling a lot of good jokes. How does Late Night compare to anchoring SNL’s “Weekend Update”? With the new show, it’s fun to actually have conversations with people where they can be unex- pected. It’s also nice to share more about my personal life. What’s the best thing about being a newlywed? [Mey- ers wed human rights lawyer Alexi Ashe in September 2013.] The amount of TV you get to watch! I married the right per- son and it’s great. Who was the last person to make you laugh? Probably my parents and my wife. I can’t ever go a day without my wife mak- ing me laugh.

Q: How did Daniel Rad- cliffe prepare for his first rom-com?—Ami P., Miami A: The former Harry Pot- ter star, who makes his romantic comedy debut in the new film What If, says his offscreen rapport with costar Zoe Kazan fueled their onscreen chemis- try. “We’re both bookish and a bit nerdy,” he says.

“[I learned] what makes her laugh.” As for his real- life girlfriend, actress Erin Darke? “I’m not a very chilled-out person,” he says, but around her, “[I’m] relaxed.” See Rad- cliffe’s evo- lution from

A: Fans of the classic film, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year,
