Powered by the resources boom, engineering postgraduates from UWA outperform the national average for starting salaries by approximately 46 per cent. On average, engineering postgraduates earn $101,573 a year, whereas the average UWA graduate earns $148,583.

Meanwhile, education and training postgraduates from Australian National University outperform the national average for starting salaries by approximately 24 per cent. Employability-wise, accounting postgraduates from the University of New England outperform the national average by approximately 36 per cent.
