CEO of GC Aesthetics ABOUT AYSE KOCAK

With 20 years’ experience working in the health sector, Ayse Kocak was in a prime position to take the position of CEO at one of the world’s largest implant manufacturers, Global Consolidated Aesthetics (GC Aesthetics), a role that has just earned her a Finance Monthly CEO Award for outstanding contribution. As the only female chief executive in the industry, Ayse is a positive force behind her 400-strong team, and relishes the challenges that arise at a moment’s notice.

“There are inevitable challenges” Ms Kocak admits, “but having built a strong, trustworthy team to stand behind me is one of my proudest achievements.” This is the team that Ayse credits with helping her expand GC Aesthetics to the extent at which it is on its way to becoming the world’s largest independent medical aesthetic company, an achievement Ayse aims to accomplish within the next 3 years. “We are right on track,” she says. ‘We have achieved significant business growth in a thriving industry that is growing by 6-8% annually: the medical

aesthetics industry as a whole is looking very promising.” The company has already achieved exciting expansion, in the shape of the recent introduction of their Eurosilicone range of implants to Britain and the Nagor range to France, whilst entering into new strong partnerships in Mexico and Thailand.

the ‘Body Matters’ panel – a panel of industry experts committed to giving women information, support and advice before they consider embarking on the physical and emotional journey of surgery. “At the end of the day, the customers are our focus,” says Ayse. “Not only the plastic surgery community, who are also very, very important,

armed with the right information, and be happy with the choices they have made.”

With so much going on, Ayse focuses on the importance of prioritising tasks and helping her global team do the same thing. “My team consists of incredibly driven people and there is a lot for
