June 2014 Travel News

Sharon turns win to her Advantage

ADVANTAGE Travel Partnership has launched the 2014 competition for one member to win £10,000 worth of consultancy services. This follows the success of the contest last year which was won by Sharon Fleming from Thompson Travel International in Portadown. Indeed Sharon has just returned from the Advantage Conference in Dubai where she talked about how winning the competition in a Dragon's Den format had strengthened her business.

She said: "The knowledge and expertise of the 'dragons' and the central Advantage team have been invaluable to me. After 20 years in the business, I feel like I have re-trained and re-focused and the £10,000 of consultancy services is being well used on what I need to take my business to the next level."

To enter the competition members must describe in less than 1000 words, why they feel their business merits winning. Shortlisted entrants will then be invited to present their submission to the judging panel. All applications must be received by June 30, 2014.
