Local food, aggregate and agricultural packers and manufacturers were given a recent opportunity to see a 25m2

automated packing line in operation.

Pacepacker Services opened its doors for a one day exclusive which included live demonstrations of the latest robotic technology available to UK bulk handling producers. With investment within automation on the rise, over 40 Essex-based product manufacturers attended the open day event to see first-hand how Pacepacker’s systems can bring greater efficiency and speed to their packing facilities. Specifically designed for a global chemical

company, the production line on show was built within a newly constructed grain store for pre- installation testing at Pacepacker’s Great Bardfield manufacturing site. This service echoes Pacepacker’s award winning ‘Try Before You Buy’

facility which allows customers to run product trials on its systems in a bid to de-risk the equipment procurement process and instil customer confidence before they place their order.
