By pulling a strap in front of the seat and a handle at the back, I lift- ed the seat to its full 11-inch height. Sitting almost two feet off the water gave me a good view of the action, but standing on the padded deck was even better. To test the boat’s stability, and improve visibility even more, I held onto the seat back to steady myself and climbed on top of the seat. fortable enough to cast, fight fish and paddle in circles. The Gravity Seat collapses to sit almost flush with the deck. It is wide and well padded, but this boat is so stable, I didn’t spend much time sitting. The Lure has low gunwales, which made it easier to paddle through wind on my way home. Back at the launch ramp, I appreci- ated the molded in Wheel in the Keel. While the hard plastic roller won’t cross sand or rough ground, it saved me from dragging the boat from the water to my truck.
