and CNC slides for finishing. The ISM B27 has many of the advantages of the full CNC machines but at a price that can be justified for the kind of work it will run. The new machine has six integrated spindle motors that allow independent con- trol of rpm by program. Capabilities include spindle stopping, C-axis positioning as well as constant surface footage. The ini- tial hydraulic slides allow for simple roughing operations while the CNC slides provide smooth and accurate single point finishing. The machine is equipped with the Fanuc 30i control and servo motor package for great reliability and performance. Gosiger Inc.

Equipped with a specially-designed twin machining head that fits onto the standard head, the ACS + CFMtwin can cut two tube or bar sections simultaneously, then machine both ends of both workpieces, also simultane- ously. It is capable of producing up to 5000 finished pieces per hour. The op- tion also exists for single tube or bar production on the
same machine. In twin mode the machine can process two workpieces of 10–41.5-mm OD each into finished lengths from 10 to 1500 mm. When the twin head is removed, the standard machining head can process a single workpiece up to 105-mm OD. Rattunde Corp. Ph: 616-940-3340 Web:
