Black Steers Stolen From Pittsburg County, Calf Butchered in Haskell County


Special Ranger Cummings reports that on Feb. 4, 3 black steers went missing from a property near Arpaler in Pittsburg County. The steers weighed 600 to 700 pounds each and had a CI brand on the left hip. On the same day, Feb. 4, a 300- to 400-pound black calf was found butchered


near an oil/gas road on a property near Quinton in Haskell County. If you have any information regarding these cases, please call Special

DISTRICT 9 — NORTH TEXAS Three Head Missing in Jack County Special Ranger John Bradshaw reports 3 head of cattle missing from a


property in Jack County between Feb. 1 and 3. Missing are an Angus bull, 3 years old, weighing approximately 2,000 pounds


with the “RA” Brown brand on the left hip; an Angus cow weighing approximately 1,300 pounds with a lazy E brand on the left shoulder and a number brand on the left hip; and an Angus-Longhorn cross calf weighing approximately 250 pounds with an under bit on the left ear. DISTRICT 12 — NORTHEAST TEXAS Tractor, Baler, Welder and Trailer Stolen From Cass County Property Special Ranger Toney Hurley reports the theft of several pieces of equipment


from a property near Queen City in Cass County. Between Feb. 13 and 18, a thief or thieves took a 2010 John Deer tractor, model 7520; a 2009 net-wrap round baler, model 568; a 2013 40-foot tandem dual dovetail gooseneck trailer; and a Lincoln 200 welder on a 15-foot single axle trailer. Brangus Cattle Stolen From Delta County Property Special Ranger Hurley reports the theft of 7 head of cattle from a property in


Delta County east of Commerce. Between March 4 and 5, a thief or thieves cut the lock on a gate to steal the cattle, all of which had yellow tags in the left ear. Stolen were 2 black Brangus cows weighing approximately 1,400 to 1,500 pounds each, with a star freeze brand on the left hip; 2 Brangus steers, approximately 18 months old; 2 Brangus heifers approximately 8 months old; and a 4-month-old Brangus bull calf.
