Did you know we work in the tropics, too? We recently celebrated the con- servation of one of the most gorgeous white-sand beaches in the world.
The work done at Maho Bay is inspir- ing. It is great to know that despite the pressures to develop coastal areas in the Caribbean, the preserved beach and forest will remain open to the public for years to come. It’s a great example of how people are working together to protect landscapes. Amanda Hollenbeck, via the blog

I’ll be 80 this year. My wife and I have walked two miles every evening for the last 15 years. We don’t have to lose our fitness to age—but it’s use it or lose it! Edgar Gillham, via the blog
