Shooting glasses

By Steve Tracy SUMMARY

If you need reading glasses to see closeup, it can be difficult and dangerous to swap them out for your range safety glasses so you can see up close. Crossfire’s AR3 shooting glasses are available with 1.5, 2.0, or 2.5 magnification bifocal lenses and they come clear or as sunglasses. If you need to see your front sight in sharper focus due to aging eyes, then Safevision LLC can create a set of prescription shooting glasses that are just right for you.

Crossfi re AR3 Shooting Glasses

I  Crossfi re AR3 shooting glasses come in clear or as sunglasses. 20 The Police Marksman May-Jun 2014

t doesn’t happen often, but it’s rewarding when you stumble upon something worthwhile, completely by accident. On vacation in a tourist trap shop full of magnets, shot glasses, and raunchy T-shirts, I spotted a pair of attractive sunglasses at a reasonable price. I needed a new pair so I picked them off the rack and tried them on. T ey were lightweight and comfortable.

I noted that the nosepiece was a single unit and screwed onto the frame. T is system is much better than the little rubber covers that seem to fall off other sunglasses. T e nosepiece is also adjustable by squeezing it tighter or spreading it open.
