Now boasting over 200 exhibitors, filling nine halls of the Harrogate International Centre and attracting more than 2,500 visitors each year, few of us are aware of the humble beginnings of Harrogate International Nursery Fair which was first established in 1968. In an exclusive Ni Voice, Robert Anslow, Harrogate International Nursery Fair director is excited about the future of what is now an international show (p9).

The Baby Products Association (BPA) has announced that it will be hosting a free three-day Seminar Programme at Harrogate International Nursery Fair (HINF) for the very first time this year from 23rd to 25th March 2014. All subjects presented will be pertinent to the nursery industry and guarantee to be interesting and informative for all visitors and exhibitors at the show. Adrian Sneyd, Harrogate International Nursery Fair organiser, said: “We are delighted with this new co-operation between the BPA and HINF as it gives added value to everyone attending the show. There is a fabulous line up of speakers which are guaranteed to attract visitors to Hall G where they will also be able to enjoy refreshments and visit four of our major exhibitors, Britax, Diono, Graco and Joie.”

In Ni viewpoints Kate Robinson, Founder of Bandino says 'expand, but don’t lose sight of your original market' while Hollie Sassienie, Founder of Sassy Bloom adds that media coverage is great, but the brand has to work (p8).
