Stand N750 SAINT-GOBAIN
RETURNS TO ECOBUILD
FOR THE HOME
At Elta we take our social responsibility to the
environment very seriously S
aint-Gobain, world leader in the habitat and construction markets, is bringing its building solutions and expertise back to Ecobuild, the biggest industry show of the year. The exhibition, held at ExCel
London, 4-6 March, has long been recognised as the reference for industry professionals to learn about the latest in innovative designs and solutions for sustainable building. The highlight of the Saint-Gobain stand will be the seminar theatre, which will play host to a series of topical seminars, designed to address key issues facing the industry today. The hourly seminar sessions will be led by prolific industry bodies including Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), Zero Carbon Hub (ZCH) and the Passivhaus Trust. The session topics include ECO & Green Deal, Multi-Comfort Buildings, Delivering Low Energy Homes, Training and Salford University’s Energy House, which will be led by academics from Salford University and Leeds Metropolitan University. In addition to the seminar theatre, the stand will showcase solutions for retrofit and new build. The Training Demonstration area will focus on external wall insulation (EWI) and internal wall insulation (IWI). Richard Halderthay, Director of Communications for
Saint-Gobain UK, Ireland & South Africa, said: “We are very excited about this year’s Ecobuild show and we look forward to welcoming visitors to the Saint-Gobain stand. “We have joined forces with partners such as CITB, the Passivhaus
Trust and Zero Carbon Hub to name just a few, to address some of the most pressing issues facing the industry today. We are committed to raising awareness of the numerous solutions available from Saint-Gobain and to share our expertise in conjunction with these leading authorities. “In addition to our stand presence, we are pleased to be the official sponsor of the Design Zone, which will look at the most cost effective ways to deliver sustainable projects while meeting energy regulations and environmental standards, with the key themes of Passivhaus and Sustainable by Design.” To register for Saint-Gobain’s seminars, please
