Mom, pastor or God? While preaching at our ecumenical Lenten Service, I quoted Psalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God.” Appar- ently my 4-year-old son thought otherwise. Singing the signs of time Last year after Valentine’s Day, the hand puppet, Mrs. Frog, asked our children’s choir to sing their favorite part of the hol- iday, and then their ages. When Mrs. Frog looked at me (the choir leader) I sang, “I am 7,” and the children laughed. So Mrs. Frog asked them how they knew I wasn’t 7.
