Robert F. Blanck, 87, a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lansdale, Pa., died Jan. 16. The attorney was treasurer of the Lutheran Church in America from 1982 to 1987. Active on the congregational level, he also served on the management committee for the LCA Office for Administration and Finance, for the LCA Executive Council, and on the executive board of the Eastern Pennsylvania and later the Southeastern Pennsylvania synods. From 1970 until his death he was a trustee of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, serving as board chair from 1976 to 2003.
