High efficiency (HE) sensor drying Whirlpool brand brings high efficiency to the dryer with models featuring AccuDry™
sensor drying systems. Select models
with Advanced Moisture Sensing also save energy and deliver better cleaning by adjusting dry time and temperature as needed and stopping the cycle when clothes are dry.
Oxi Dispense option Enhances whitening performance with an eco-friendly alternative to bleach. An automatic dispenser distributes the oxygenated additive at the appropriate time, sending oxygen through the load to brighten fabrics.
Precision Dispense Senses and adapts to each load, adding detergent, bleach or fabric softener at just the right time. A concentrated burst of detergent showers directly onto clothes to penetrate stains and pretreat soils. Precision Dispense Plus models add the ability to release oxi additives.
Precision Dispense Ultra Penetrates stains and pretreats soils with a concentrated burst of detergent and holds enough 2X concentration HE detergent for up to 12 loads of laundry in a single filling.
Quad dryer baffles Four shorter, staggered baffles increase the effectiveness of the dryer and promote better, more even tumbling.
Quick Wash/Dry cycle Designed to clean or dry small, lightly soiled loads in less time using increased spin speeds to extract more water. The Quick Dry cycle even allows you to finish drying a load in as little as 13 minutes.
Quiet Spin technology Install your top load laundry pair on a second floor and be assured of great out-of-balance performance and vibration control. Quiet Spin 360 technology’s dual-ring ball-balancing system makes it our highest level of vibration control in front load laundry.
Quiet Wash/Dry noise reduction systems Keep operational sounds inside the washer and dryer and out of living areas with sound-absorbing materials around the wash basket and dryer drum. Escalating levels of sound reduction are available, up to Quiet Wash Ultra and Quiet Dry Ultra.
Reduce Static/Static Reduce option Uses tumbling and a spray mist in the dryer to evenly reduce the amount of static in an entire load of clothes.

SilentSteel™ dryer drum
Forget about the sound of metal buttons and zippers making noise as they tumble, thanks to a unique sound-dampening material that surrounds the stainless steel dryer drum. The dryer runs quieter, even when you load items with metal accents.
Smooth impeller Select high-efficiency wash systems feature a specially designed low-profile plate at the bottom of the wash basket to give you more wash capacity and better fabric care.
Smooth motion agitator Brings your laundry to the bottom of the wash basket where cleaning takes place. It can effectively roll over and clean twice the average size load (based upon a 7-lb average load size).
Smooth Spiral stainless steel wash basket The stainless steel wash basket resists odors and rust and features a spiral design for greater fabric care and gentle cleaning performance.
Stainless steel washer and dryer drum The drum’s stainless steel construction has a smooth surface that resists odors, rust and chipping and helps prevent fabrics from snagging or tearing.
Steam technology In the washer, steam breaks down and dissolves tough stains without pretreating. In the dryer, features like the Enhanced Touch Up Steam cycle and Quick Refresh Steam cycle combine mist with heat to create steam to relax wrinkles and refresh dry clothes. Whirlpool®
steam dryers also feature a Y-connector so you don’t have to add water manually before starting a steam cycle.
Tap Touch controls Allows direct access to washer and dryer functions, and its sleek appearance enhances the appeal of any space.
TumbleFresh™ option
Activates after the wash cycle is finished and rolls clean clothes periodically to help prevent wrinkles from setting in. Clothes stay fresh without having to transfer them to the dryer immediately.§§
Unique soft-touch impeller Moves clothes gently through the water to provide excellent cleaning performance and gentle fabric care. To protect fabrics and fibers during the wash cycle, a specially designed material fully wraps the impeller vanes.
Wrinkle Shield™ /Wrinkle Shield™ Plus option with Steam
Tumbles the dryer every 5 minutes after the cycle is complete to help prevent wrinkles from setting into clean, dry fabrics. The intermittent tumbling can continue for up to 150 minutes (based on the model), or until the door is opened and the load is removed. Wrinkle Shield™ option adds the power of steam to the tumbling for improved results.
