Arco keeps Blackrock


rco, Ireland’s fastest growing safety company, has proudly sponsored the Blackrock College Outreach Programme by donating personal protective equipment to student volunteers helping to build educational facilities in developing countries. As part of the programme, students from Blackrock College,


Dublin, volunteered to help


develop the Holy Ghost secondary school in Machakos, Kenya which will house up to 400 students. In July, 30 boys from the 2013 graduating class travelled to Kenya and contributed their time and energy into building the school which will provide education facilities for orphans and other marginalised children in the area. By donating their labour, the volunteers have helped secure a quality education for those who would have otherwise gone without. Derek Lynch from Arco comments, “We are extremely pleased to be sponsoring the Blackrock College Outreach Programme and to be contributing to the fantastic work they are doing in Kenya.
